Kishore Kothapalli – Managing Director

Kishore is the promoter of Posnet and the Managing Director of Modern Roofings Limited, an asphaltic roofing sheet manufacturer. He is also the founder of MRL Retail, a major Reebok and Lerros franchisee as well as ITC distributor. He has interests in ventures related to the real estate, hospitality and technology sectors. He is the Vice Chairman of the Lions Eye Hospital in Nidadavole, Andhra Pradesh. In his free time, Kishore likes to run and hopes to run a full marathon soon. Kishore holds a B. Tech from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Kellogg School of Management.

Harsh Madhav Dar – Advisor

Harsh helps the core team develop and execute the market entry and growth strategy across regional markets. He is the founder of HMD Consulting, a strategy, marketing consulting & advisory services firm. He was the MD & CEO of Surya Nepal Private Limited, a subsidiary of ITC Limited. During this period he was the recipient of the prestigious FNCCI Excellence & NICCI Excellence Awards for Surya Nepal being the best managed Company in Nepal. He conceived and launched Surya 24 Carat, SNPL’s flagship brand and Springwood Nepal’s leading apparel brand and set up a state-of-the-art garment manufacturing factory. He was also the Vice President of the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Harsh has had a 21 year career with ITC Limited where he drove the setting up of its channel marketing & distribution network for grocery, kirana, stationery and modern trade key accounts. As the General Manager & Head of Trade Marketing & Distribution, Harsh has unparalleled start-up and growth experience having launched and established multiple brands and 9 product categories across food & non-food FMCG. He has also worked on the Executive Committee of British American Tobacco Bangladesh as Head of Trade Marketing & Distribution. Harsh has an MBA with specialization in Marketing & Finance from Lucknow University and has attended Executive Programmes at the Wharton & Kellogg Business Schools in Marketing & Finance.

Sunil Jain – CFO

Sunil has over 2 decades of experience in finance, set up of marketing & distribution networks and business operations of companies into retail & banking retail infrastructure. He is also the Executive Director Deccan Shoppe Private Limited, a retail banking infrastructure company which is one of the first in India to provide total implementation solutions to banks in setting up of ATM’s. He is also promoter director of MRL Retail. Sunil has a graduate degree in business.

Venkat Kalyanraman – Chief Infrastructure Officer

Venkat is passionate about delivering business value using technology and has about 14 years of experience in the Payment industry. He spent twelve out of those fourteen years in various capacities with, Verifone, an industry leader in the payment space. He has gained invaluable international experience in this space by virtue of working out of North America and Singapore, and by working with customers globally. Prior to joining MRL Posnet he was the regional technical director for VeriFone Asia Pacific. In this role he led tech support, managed services line of business and new business initiatives covering the entire ASPAC region - China, Australia, New Zealand, India and South East Asian countries. He holds an engineering degree in Computer science and an MBA from University of Texas at Dallas.

Prathap Pingali – Chief Marketing Officer

Prathap has a flair for selling. He started his career as a Company Secretary for Vasant Chemicals Ltd as well as the HRD co-ordinator. In 1999, Prathap became a promoter Director and Chief Operating Officer of Vasant Scribes, a medical transcription company and shifted to the U.S. in 2002. He was involved with Vasant Scribes from day one and was instrumental in building it into one of the biggest transcription companies in India, which was sold in 2008. In 2008, Prathap relocated back to India and joined MRL Posnet. He has taken up the challenging task of building out a strong and vibrant sales team covering the length and breadth of India. Prathap is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with additional qualifications - Bachelors in Law, Masters in Personnel Management, PG Diplomas in Marketing and Financial Management.

Shyam Nallapareddy – Chief Process Officer

Shyam has owned and managed a 100 person business which is a leading manufacturer of flow measurement and control instrumentation products in India. He has worked with Brooks Instrument Division in the US to acquire knowledge in all aspects of design, engineering, manufacturing techniques, machine selection, assembly floor design, quality control, costing, service centre management of flow meters and accessories. In addition, he has experience in infrastructure planning, project management and deliveries. He is certified as a Lead Assessor for ISO 2000 quality audit. Shyam is the Vice President of Deepanjali, a centre for excellence in Kuchipudi that is involved in production of dance ballets. He has a Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India.

Sunil Rongala – Chief Risk Officer & Head – Business Strategy

Sunil is an economist by training and was formerly the Chief Economist of a large conglomerate in India. Prior to joining MRL Posnet, Sunil was the Asia-Pacific economist for Deloitte LLP where he wrote timely articles on Asia-Pacific economies as well as gave client briefings. He has written extensively in journals, newspapers as well as co-authored a book on Asian macroeconomics. He has also presented papers in several top conferences. Sunil has a passion for learning new things and a research bent of mind but tuned to the business angle. He holds a Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Ph.D. in International Economics from Claremont Graduate University, California.
